Runagaldr is an independent music review site. The site is built to collect as little personal information as practical.

What Runagaldr collects

Runagaldr does not currently offer user accounts, comments, newsletters, or advertising. The site does not sell personal information or build advertising profiles.

Analytics

Runagaldr uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand aggregate site usage and performance, including visits, page views, referring sites, approximate country, device and browser information, and Core Web Vitals. This is used to understand which parts of the site are being found and whether the site is performing well.

Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies, local storage, or other browser storage for analytics. Cloudflare states that Web Analytics does not collect or use visitors' personal data and does not fingerprint individual visitors.

Theme preference

If you switch between light and dark mode, that preference is stored locally in your browser using local storage. It is used only to remember your chosen appearance on future visits.

Search

Review search uses a static search index and runs in your browser after the search page loads. A search term may appear in the page URL when you open the search page, which means it may also appear in ordinary server logs.

Server logs

The web server and hosting provider may process standard technical information needed to deliver and secure the site. This can include an IP address, browser or user-agent information, requested pages, timestamps, referring pages, and technical error data. Runagaldr does not use this information to create behavioral profiles.

Third-party links and content

Reviews may link to services such as Spotify, YouTube, artist pages, labels, or other external websites. If you follow one of those links, the destination site's own privacy practices apply.

Some release artwork may also be served from an external source rather than directly from Runagaldr. In that case, your browser may connect to that third party in order to load the image.

Cookies and tracking

Runagaldr does not use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioral tracking. The Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon does not use cookies or browser storage. The site's light or dark theme preference is stored locally as described above.

Changes to this policy

This page may be updated as the site changes, especially if Runagaldr later adds features such as comments, newsletters, advertising, or other services that handle visitor information. The date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
